Archbishop Duhig Nursing Home
Established in 1984 as a 41 bed high care facility, the Archbishop Duhig Nursing Home was the first not-for-profit aged care facility accredited in Queensland.
At Archbishop Duhig Nursing Home we understand that each resident has individual needs.
We ensure that specific needs are recognised and that assistance is offered to residents in an effort to maintain their independence and well being.
Additional Care and Service
Our highly trained and empathetic staff understand that excellence in service is more than providing nursing care.
An enjoyable lifestyle is one where personal, spiritual and physical needs are met. Archbishop Duhig Nursing Home endeavours to meet these needs by offering those little extras to compliment your nursing needs.
Archbishop Duhig is a proud participant in the Spark of Life program. This program has seen great success in returning the "spark" to the lives of residents with Dementia.
Focussing on a holistic care approach, the social and emotional needs of our residents is at the centre of the program, rather than simply providing medical care.
